My beginning of 2021

The beginning of this year was great for me. I saw in the New Year with my family, at home. I was truly happy because spending this special time with my mum and dad always makes me feel that everything will be all right and some of my dreams will come true in the new year. My mum thinks that 2021 will be better than last year, so it gives me hope for the best.

Also our New Year family tradition is watching one part of the film called “Yolki”. This year we’ve watched the last part as I like it most. It’s a very kind, touching and magical story which can impress everyone. To tell the truth, every time I watch it, I cry. It’s impossible to hide emotions as we care about the characters’ future as if they are a part of our family.

My another New Year tradition is listening to my favourite music at night, looking at our beautiful garlands and remembering the best moments of the last year. I can’t imagine my New Year celebration without it.

We all know that a good year beginning makes the whole year good. I hadn’t seen my best friend for four months and I’m very happy that last week she came to visit me. We gave cute presents to each other, talked and laughed a lot and danced. We had fun playing “Monopoly”, my favourite board game. And we ate a lot of sweets :)

We spent two amazing days together and I hope in 2021 we’ll see each other more often.

New Year is my favourite holiday as it makes us believe in miracles. I think in 2021 we should appreciate every moment and live a life we have always wanted.
